Art 30

The Art 30 course consists of several art projects, which continue to explore mediums through 2- and 3-dimensional art. More in-depth encounters with art history, art movements/styles, and artists is an important aspect in learning to understand the language and the processes of art. Art 30 incorporates preliminary research in order for the student to have a better understanding of an influential artist(s) within a specific movement, or specific skills and techniques; in turn this will assist the student in having a better understanding, allowing for a more successful outcome. This is achieved through artist research and or technical exploration and also project planning. Communicating through critique and discussing art is encouraged at the Art 30 level. The projects can be accessed through my Art 30 Moodle, Assessment is based on skill/technique, understanding content, creativity, use of media and, planning and process.
