Welcome to Miss A. Wilson's Homepage

My name is Aimee Wilson, I am Métis from Region 3.  My family is from St. Paul, a Métis settlement in Region 2. I am passionate about reconciliation through education!

I am thrilled to start my second year with Rocky View Schools at Bert Church High School.  I am entering my fourth year of teaching, coming from Edmonton Public, where I taught at Harry Ainlay and Jasper Place High School.

I have my Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta, where I majored in Kinesiology and minored in Social Studies.  I am currently working on my master's degree through the University of Lethbridge in the Indigenous Studies Faculty working along side the Education Faculty.

This year I will be teaching Physical Education, Social Studies, and Health. I am looking forward to the opportunity to build connections with students through being active and engaging in meaningful conversations. 
I will be coaching Sr. Girls Basketball.  I cannot wait to contribute to the school culture through the excitement of athletics.
