Welcome!

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year and my eighteenth year as a teaher with the Rockyview School Division. I have a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology from the department of Agriculture and Forestry with a major in Family Studeies and a Bachelors Degree in Education with Major in Home Economics and a minor in Social Studies both from the University of Alberta.

I will be teaching Science 14 & 24, Health 9 and CALM. I am excited and eager to begin the year - we have lots of great inquiry projects to learn and discover together! I will endeavour to provide all students with an engaging, enriching, and entertaining exploration of all of my courses.

At the heart of my practices as a classroom teacher are three pedagogical values.

I believe that learning (anything) will enrich your life.
I believe that while we each have our own unique strengths and struggles, anyone can learn anything if the desire and drive to do so is present.
I believe that passion for the subject and positive relationships with students are at the heart of an engaging classroom.
