Building Futures Opportunity
Available for Grade 10 students only - once you have submitted your application form and been approved, please see your School Counsellor to adjust your schedule as this is a full year program off campus.
Global Hockey Academy Opportunity
This is available to students in grades 9 - 12 in an Airdrie School. The program is housed in George MacDougall High but does not require a change in school to attend. Once accepted, please connect with your School Counsellor so your schedule can be modified to afternoons only while you attend the Hockey Academy in the mornings.
Leadership Academy Opportunity
A RockyView wide high school opportunity, Leadership Academy empower student leaders to gain a deeper knowledge of self and develop a broader network of connections in service of their communities. See below for the application form, and flyer.
Mechanics Training Centre Opportunity
Open for students in grades 10-12, the application for this program is provided within in the link. You will then work with your School Counsellor to re-design your schedule to attend either all morning or all afternoon of one semester.
Dual Credit Opportunity
Students who would like to take SAIT college courses while they are still in high school. Please check out the types of Dual credit courses and see your School Counsellor to sign up.
Off Campus - Green Certificate Program
A wide a variety of agriculture-related, structured learning pathways as a part of their senior high school program and to earn up to 16 Grade 12 diploma credits and a credential leading to a career in agribusiness. Green certificate is typically worked on after school hours but see your school counsellor if you'd like time built into your schedule for this program.
Off Campus - Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP)
RAP students are both full-time students and registered apprentices, dividing their time between an approved work site and their high school studies.
