Principal's Message
Our first week of Semester 2 has wrapped up. It was busy transitioning 225 students to a new structure in online learning while finalizing schedules for our 955 in-person students. A big thank you to all the staff and students for their work and flexibility getting everything in order.
February is a short month in the calendar but an even shorter month in-school. Students and families are reminded that there is no school from Monday, February 15th - Friday, February 19th to accommodate Family Day and our Annual Teachers Convention.
We continue to work with our students around public health protocols while at school and are going to switch one thing up starting Monday, February 22nd. For the first semester, the Blue Group arrived first and departed first from classes. For Semester 2, starting February 22nd, we will reverse the order so the Gold Group will arrive first and depart first. An updated bell schedule will be communicated to students prior to February break.
With the cold weather and snow, we are reminding students they may stay in their Period 2 classes for lunch each day. Come prepared to eat in the school if the weather is too cold.
Thank you for your support and have a great weekend,
Ryan
