Thank you for watching this week's Principal's Message. To highlight a few points, we want to:

1. Thank you for your diligence with Covid-19 protocols and supporting us at the school.
2. Encourage you to review public health measures with your child this weekend and evaluate your 'bubbles'.
3. Create a plan for when your child is asked to quarantine to ensure learning continues.

Grade 11 & 12's    Virtual Career Fairs Open in November
 
If you missed the Bert Church Virtual fair in October, now is your chance to still gather information.  Every Tuesday and Thursday night until the end of November, any student is encouraged to connect to chat live with recruitment officers from all of the post secondary Colleges/Universities and Technical Institutions across the province!

Students can connect again by visiting https://elaa.6connex.com/event/alberta/student/login and logging in using their email. If they have yet to register they can do so easily from this same page in less than a minute! There is a help desk in the lobby when they first connect that can provide navigational and technical support.

Understanding Teen Mental Health and Wellness during a Pandemic 

1:30 PM - 3:30 PM


Everyone has mental health, teens included. This workshop will provide information to help parents and caregivers understand and support positive mental health for youth in their teen years including an emphasis on Covid19 and your youth. Learn to distinguish between normal feelings and behaviour of young people, and signs and symptoms of mental health concerns and issues. Relevant school and community resources will be shared. 

Ocean did a wonderful job creating a replica of a cell using five cent candies. Good job Ocean!
We are thankful for our partners at Staples as they surprised one of our gr. 9 students with a complimentary laptop this past Wednesday! Thank you Miriah for making one of our student's days!
