2. BCHS Swag for purchase

Thanks to our leadership students we have an opportunity to purchase official BCHS clothing. To check out the store and support a great local company (Graphnix) please follow this link. Sale ends Saturday, October 31st!

3. Speaking of October 31st

Our leadership students have put together a fun filled week to get into the Halloween spirit. More information is available at bchs.chargers on instagram! A reminder that all costumes students wear on Friday, October 30th must be school appropriate and still allow for learning to occur. We thank our students in advance for respecting this.

4. Welcome to our new counsellor!

We are pleased to announce the recent hire of Ms. Sonja Quinlan-Jacob who is replacing Ms. Anderson while she is on leave. Ms. Quinlan Jacob will be our gr. 10/12 school counsellor. As a program director for the Canadian Mental Health Association, Sonja supported and lead many people. We are thrilled to add her skill set to our staff and look forward to her starting on November 9th. Welcome Ms. Quinlan-Jacob!

Thanks again for all of your support - we feel it!

Ryan Reed

Staff and students enjoyed Blue and Gold day last Friday getting into school spirit by repping the school colours!
We handed out over 200 hundred honour roll and honourable mention certificates on Wednesday morning. Congratulations to all of the students who persevered through challenging circumstances last year to achieve over 75% or 80% averages. We're proud of you!
Our gr. 9 students enjoying collaborating on each other's writing through the process of peer review. Thanks for sharing Ms. Brandford!
Our Chargers Football team had a blast on Saturday playing an intersquad game to cap their season. In an adjusted scoring format, the defense (blue) came out on top 46 - 43 in dramatic fashion. Thanks to all the community coaches, our Chargers Football Booster Club, and our own staff, Mr. Bates, Mr. Larsen, Mr. Friesen, Mr. Lucas, and Ms. Williams for making it happen.

All parents / guardians in Alberta with children in Kindergarten to Grade 12 are invited to participate in the survey.  (please share widely)

Participation is anonymous, and will inform the ASCA Board of Directors on parents’ perspectives during the Fall 2020 school re-entry.

The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. All responses are confidential.

The survey closes on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 11:59 p.m.
