We are at the halfway point of our exam schedule with PAT's for gr. 9 and diplomas carrying on next week. Thanks to the efforts of everyone the process is running well!
A couple of items to look ahead to and keep in mind as we enter the last week of January:
1. Exams run this week until Thursday, January 30th. Please see the link below for the schedule
2. Over the course of this next week, grades will be updated in PowerSchool for all courses. Please be aware that grades are not final till Friday, January 31st when they will be stored. You may see a fluctuation in your child's mark this week due to the updating.
3. Semester 2 will begin with Teacher Advisory on Monday, February 3rd. Students will have a few reminders and go over their schedule in Advisory then begin their day. Timetable changes will be completed by administration and school counsellors over the first 2 days of the semester (Feb 3/4th). After that, individual appointments will have to be made with the counsellors.

Our JV Girls Basketball team is having a tremendous season as evidenced by their 2nd place finish at the EFA tournament last weekend. The girls are currently first in RVS with a record of 3-0. Catch these terrific athletes in action at the JV BCI tournament next weekend!
Through the excellent efforts of our BCHS Environmental group, over $1100 was raised to help the efforts to fight the fires in Australia. Thanks to all who contributed and to Ms. Beckett for leading the charge!
